The Case of the Bump on the Pool Slide

Hello everyone.
My name is Sakura-mama.

Today, I would like to write about “the case of being hit from behind on the pool slide!

It happened yesterday.
I went to a big swimming pool with my family.
My young children were so excited!

There was a slide that only children under junior high school age or parents accompanying their young children could use.

I was sliding with my 2 year old.
There were two rows of slides.
It was Sunday and there were lots of kids.

When our turn finally came, I sat down first, my child on my lap, and we slid down the slide.
As soon as I got off the slide and was about to stand up, I felt a strong pain in my right calf!

I turned around to see a big boy, maybe middle school age or younger, rear-ending us from behind!

The warden immediately warned us that we should not slide until the person in front of us had moved out of the way,
The boy escaped from the scene as if he was trying to escape from the attention…!

When I got up from the pain, the boy was already gone.
The boy’s parents did not seem to be around.

Not even an “I’m sorry?”
Was the boy in a panic too?
I had many thoughts, but there was nothing I could do at this point.

The next day, today…!
The leg where I was hit became swollen, and it started to hurt when I walked.

When I went to the hospital, they told me that I had injured my Achilles tendon and gave me a compress.

I was disappointed with the pain and the cost of treatment, but I decided to call the pool.

I told them the following
I told them that I had been hit from behind on the slide.
The person in front of me was not responsible for the bump.
The watchman gave a warning after the bump, but that would not have prevented the accident. The person behind the slide should have been instructed on the timing at the top of the slide.
I would like you to pay for the medical treatment.

I told them the above and am waiting for their response.

I wonder what kind of response I will get….
